Interact

The Port St. Lucie Rotary Club sponsors the Treasure Coast High School's Interact Club. Interact is a youth service club that gives opportunities for young people of secondary school age to work together to develop skills in service projects and leadership. In addition to having their own service projects, these students assist our Club with a number of our projects.

On Dec. 8, 2015, the Rotary Club of Port St. Lucie entertained 150 children with good food, music, and presents delivered by Santa Claus. This annual event brings joy and laughter of the season to some of our communities most disadvantaged.

31 Rotary Interactors of Treasure Coast High School and their advisor Jennifer Raneri, helped serve lunch, assisted Santa, and cleaned up.

Members of the Interact Club of Treasure Coast High School came together with Port St. Lucie Rotary and other area Rotary Clubs to Stop Hunger. The event, hosted by Treasure Coast Hospice, resulted in 13,000 meals being packaged. The Stop Hunger Now program ships and distributes meals to countries aroun the world. The 77 Interact Club members of Treasure Coast High School learned about events around the world and developed teamwork with leaders in their community.

In April 2016, the Interact students met with senior citizens to teach them how to use their cell phones.
